PTX, Volume 1 is the debut EP by Pentatonix, featuring covers and originals written and arranged by the band. Released on June 26, 2012, with Madison Gate Records, it charted at No. 14 on the Billboard Top 200 chart as well as No. 5 on the digital chart.

PTXmas is the second EP and the first Christmas release by Pentatonix. It released on November 13, 2012. The EP includes 6 Christmas carols, all sung in A Capella. This EP was also released by Madison Gate Records, and peaked at No. 5 in the Top Independent Albums, No. 14 on the Top Digital Albums, and No. 45 on The Billboard 200. PTXmas Deluxe Edition was released on November 19, 2013 with an additional two songs.
